About Shu
The alchemist behind the method
Yehoshua ‘Shu’ Eliovson is a Startup Alchemist, advising many of Israel’s leading startup CEOs on capital raising, market strategy, global growth, customer onboarding, and strategic storytelling.
The science and methods of Startup Alchemy, which Shu developed over a 30-year career, have resulted in over $600M in successful capital raises for the companies he advises — several of them now unicorns.
Shu is a pioneer of the early web, having led the creation of several foundational technologies and multiple companies that reached IPOs and exits. From 2018–2021, he built and directed the Strategic Storytelling & Investor Readiness practice at Deloitte.
He lives in the village of Pardes Chana, Israel, where he continues to work directly with founders who are ready to turn their raw material into investor gold.
